Guest is 100% right there. Banks are the antithesis of propriety and this BS is little more than a highly useful, highly conspicuous distraction from much of their usual far shadier dealings.

The hottest temperature ever officially recorded anywhere in the world was in Death Valley. It was 56.667 degrees celsius or 134 Fahrenheit way back in 1913. According to The Guardian on 20th July 2023 Death Valley is one of the, 'hottest places in the world' and it, 'reached at least 121F (49.4C)' this week. A 71 year old man just died there and apparently, “Heat may have been a factor in his death,” ...officials said in a press release. So, some way to go then in our ever warming world to match that 1913 record and it looks like Laura with her 'Truth Illusory Effect' is bang on the money..

The Police have been next to useless when it comes to tackling JSO. Perhaps they're hoping for a conga photo op? They have essentially forced the public, out of sheer frustration, to resort to potentially illegal, often violent acts in order to clear the highways whose free access the police are charged with protecting. Obstructing a highway is an offence and in JSO's case it's a very clear offence. 'The offence is committed if a person without a lawful excuse or authority wilfully obstructs the free passage of the highway. The 'highway' is not just limited to roads but also includes pavements, grass verges and private property used as a public thoroughfare.' TLDR? Police DO your effing job.

Don't know what happened to Paul Mason. He used to speak quite a lot of sense and now almost everything that leaves that man's mouth is completely hatstand.

Natwest/C***ts IS pretty much still a state bank!!

On a wider point, if banks were genuinely private businesses then they wouldn't have been bailed out by the UK taxpayer in 2008 and NatWest/Coutts wouldn't still be 48% owned by the UK taxpayer.
