  1. La Vorderman is right of course, but I can never forget or forgive her numerous 'Debt Consolidation' adverts from the Noughties I'm afraid that used to play endlessly on daytime TV..... don't ask.

  2. A lot of this criminally overpaid for stuff was useless anyway and is now sitting in landfill. I struggled from the beginning with the idea that in 2019 we were told one minute that single use plastic was one of the greatest environmental evils facing the planet and then by 2020 we suddenly couldn't get enough of it. Needless to say, post covid, it's back to being the great evil it previously was. Ain't human beings funny?
