Bernie Sanders is a Brooklyn born Jewish American who apparently has a lot in common politically with and respect for the alleged 'anti-Semite' Corbyn. Responding to the damning report that originally saw Corbyn unceremoniously ejected from the party by Starmer, Mr Corbyn said at the time: “One anti-semite is one too many, but the scale of the problem was also dramatically overstated for political reasons by our opponents inside and outside the party, as well as by much of the media.” His refusal to retract that apparently controversial statement led to his current political exile. The fact that Sanders finds it a little strange that Corbyn cannot stand for his own party, a party which he led, in a constituency that he has held since 1983 is indeed more than, 'a little strange'. Hmm....
