  2. Hedges' treatment by the Scruggs funded TRNN reinforces the reason why Tucker Carlson opted for a subscriber model when he was booted out of Murdoch's Fox. Both advertisers and wealthy owners will always be tempted to flex their editorial muscles over content sadly as Carlson also found out despite drawing relatively huge audiences. Be you left or right, genuine freedom of the press is coming under ever more serious threat.

GG is a card carrying big 'C' catholic so his traditional religious views on gay relationships/marriages not being 'equivalent' to heterosexual relationships/marriages aren't exactly a bombshell. He's entitled to his views of course just as he was on advocating Chinese style lockdowns during covid, but that doesn't necessarily make him wrong about railing against Israel's genocide in Gaza.
