If Trump doesn't crumble under pressure and agree a deal not to run in 2024, as is surely the aim here, then he can still run for president from a federal prison cell and then, should he win, as Potus he can then pardon himself. All a bit of a gamble though and either way the way Biden has blatantly weaponised US justice here shows that the country is fast becoming a banana republic. Sad times indeed.
