  2. I really don't know what happened to people like Emily Maitlis and Paul Mason. I'm old enough to remember when they were actually pretty good at just doing their jobs, even Owen Jones had his good moments too, but over the years they really have been reduced to being purveyors of hate and sowers of division. I wouldn't mind so much but my politics is broadly of the left they purport to represent and it's nasty, divisive figures like these who have effectively undermined it seemingly only in pursuit of their own self-aggrandisement.
