On current data German exports to the UK have certainly suffered since Brexit but UK exports to the EU, more generally, far less so. Look forward to the next piece by this outlet on that story.... Think it might be a long wait.

@AbbeyRoadkill1 Well, it ain't exactly cheerful I'll give you that. Europe, in particular, is in a dark place currently but I do take issue with the lens through which it is seen by hit pieces such as this and the dumb ignorant comments which tend to follow it. Er...such as yours.

@T0MT0Mmmmy The UK has a trade deficit not least because it's the EU's third biggest market after the US and China and has been for years. That market is a two way street and currently Germany isn't selling what it was to the UK and that's all whilst one of its biggest markets, China, is faltering and war continues in the Ukraine. Now you can be a posturing tw@t about it if you want - there are plenty of others like you in the comments here - or you can accept reality and act like a grown up.

Brexit tropetastic!! Naughty, naughty dishonest piece this. If anyone is genuinely interested, look at the growth (and inflation) figures for EU member countries' economies and focus primarily on those comparable to the UK ie Germany, Italy, France and Germany. Very little between them ie they're all pretty poor and very little separates them. I think I'll struggle to ever take this channel seriously anymore after this hatchet job.
