  1. If you look at global GDP, before the 80s even, it has barely risen since the 1970s. What has changed is the exponential amount of rolling debt that's been attached to it.

  2. Broadly agree. Fragile economic growth built on extremely shallow, precarious foundations. Covid followed by Ukraine were the just the winds that blew it down.
