  3. S and P got far further to fall. Expect it to eventually go back to 3400 at least, allowing for a few more dead cat bounces, and may even go back to its sub 3000 pre-pandemic levels if the war in Ukraine continues.

  4. A lot of people who frankly couldn't afford to borrowed large sums of fiat money to buy the many thousands of cryptos on offer over the lockdown. Crypto is a Ponzi scheme proper and relied upon the principle of the next greater fool. Many of these 'fools' were driven as much by desperation as greed though I suspect and this is an unfolding story. For me what governments around the world were doing allowing this to happen is the real moral question at the heart of this.

  5. And what about all those poor South American countries that bought into all this nonsense? This could be politically destabilising for them. The crypto 'whales', Western financial institutions and corporates have a large degree of responsibility for this sh*tshow.
