Have the tanks on the streets been absolutely confirmed as there to put down the bank protests?

Bit of context needed there I feel. Whilst it marked a monthly increase of 8%, personal cash deposits totalled £1.35 billion, up 2% month on month, while business cash deposits totalled £1.13 billion, up by 1.9% month on month.

@aaronbaker2186 There were reports that they were on a military exercise miles away and were simply returning to base. Don't get me wrong, if they were there to suppress protests then the world should know, but if they weren't then this is little better than the proverbial 'fake news'. I just desperately want to see a little more thoroughness in modern news that's all. The bank problems in China look pretty real to me, but is this 'gilding the lily' a wee bit too much?
