Apparently unprecedentedly healthy labour markets when you have serious post covid supply side issues and you've just effectively printed trillions of dollars to pay for said pandemic are inevitably inflationary. Anyone like to hazard a guess who's going to be first in line to help pay for this folly? Clue: it won't be Jerome Powell or those like him I'm afraid.

The labour market doth not an economy make. Consumer confidence is at its lowest ever is another metric. Employment levels appear 'healthy' post covid, but if the supply side issues continue - which they likely will - then this could all change pretty quickly.
