  1. I understand your disillusionment but without a more direct form of democracy these things will always happen. People tend to associate US 'neo-Cons' purely with the right ie the Republican Party but unfortunately it now seems that the Democrats are just as likely if not more likely to exhibit and act upon these hideously reckless ill-judged attempts at US muscle flexing.
