  1. A good journalist is someone who leaves their own biases at the door and who pursues a story without fear or favour. Unfortunately 'good journalism' has become increasingly rare, if unheard of, in mainstream media today.

  4. Gerth relates any denial of Russian involvement as akin to the twisted world McCarthyism. This also puts me in mind of CRT. The very act of denying that you're racist means that, by definition, you are with the only answer acceptable to those pushing its agenda is a mea culpa admission that you irredeemably are.

  5. Whether people like it or not there is a direct line between the scandal that is Russiagate and the January 6th riot. An event which should never have happened. American democracy was fundamentally undermined the day that Trump was elected. Not by Trump though but by those who sought to delegitimize his presidency from the very beginning and who would go on to spend the following years doing so.
