Campbell is a vicious bully who belongs behind bars along with his rictus grinning boss. Thanks to his 'dodgy dossier' he has the blood of hundreds of thousands on his hands. No wonder he's depressed. I would be too.

If Farage or Tice had behaved in this shameful manner imagine how the press would be queuing up to paint them as typical misogynistic right wing villains. As it is Campbell, serial bully, war spinner and Maxwell lackey seems to be being given a free pass by a load of amoral hard of thinking numbnuts with collective amnesia because he's regularly wheeled out by the likes of the BBC to condemn a democratic decision.
2
@CodeCancerLab He was Blair's Press Secretary and he wrote the casus belli presented to parliament falsely claiming Iraqi WMD and the UK being potentially minutes away from attack. Is there some sort of collective amnesia amongst Remaniacs or something? I can understand why Campbell would prefer not to be reminded - it would haunt my every waking hour if I were responsible for that abomination - but I can't understand why so many people like you actively choose to not to remember.

Must be a relly or are you just hard of thinking?

A gentleman is someone who knows how to play the bagpipes but never does. Needless to say, Alistair Campbell isn't a gentleman....

#MeToo Ooh, ooh, found one!!

There isn't one mad enough to take him.

Alistair Campbell has probably never reflected on anything in his life. All he's done is try and monestize his likely largely self-inflicted depression for profit. From being a Maxwell shill to being Blair's spinner and weaver of war the man is a disgrace. His reputation should be in shreds and yet you've got 'good' people coming on here defending him.

So the lunatic in this scenario is the person defending a democratic vote NOT the person who composed a tissue of lies that led to the bombing and deaths of tens of thousands of Iraqis and laid waste a country that has not recovered to this day? What a mighty peculiar moral compass you have.

He wrote the dodgy dossier FFS!! The casus belli presented to parliament and the British public stating that Saddam had WMD and the UK was potentially 40 minutes away from attack. What exactly does it take to get through to people like you. Campbell sold his soul to the Devil years ago. Presumably you're still just haggling over the price?

Yes. I particularly enjoy the colouring in section.

@eightiesmusic1984 No. It was a democratic expression of preference much as the previous 1975 referendum was. I can fully appreciate why people don't agree with it and fully endorse their democratic right to do so, but no I don't see it as the UK's biggest act of self harm since Suez. Lots of other, far greater contenders for that dubious accolade including the Iraq War (in which that tosser Campbell was a key figure), our bonkers Covid response (which that other tosser Stewart was a key figure in) and the more recent completely unnecessary, avoidable war in Ukraine. None of which, I strongly suspect, you would agree with.

@eightiesmusic1984 So, I'm assuming you either didn't understand the established rules of that simple majority vote at the time or you refused to vote believing its fundamental premise to be flawed? In terms of what you believe on the other issues, a simple 'you happen to be wrong in your suppositions' would suffice.

@eightiesmusic1984 You approached me remember? You can't back up your arguments? No worries. I'm used to it.
