  1. Can't see anything going wrong here. The West has still not officially entered the war. It's just sending the money and hardware that sustains it. I'm sure the Russians will entirely appreciate this crucial fine technicality, even if things start to look like they're going seriously pear-shaped for them.....

  2. To date just over 10k Abrams have been built to date based on the original 1975 design which came into service in 1980. 2k are in active service and 3k are mothballed, for want of a better word. Are we seriously supposed to believe that, given the relatively tiny amount they'll send to Ukraine, that they're all equipped with state of the art technology?
