  1. Of course it was nothing more than a geopolitical flex by the US, but nobody spins a more effective narrative than the Americans. The victors get to write the history so hence the reason why most people believed the narrative. Truman, I believe, is the US president with the most attributable deaths on his watch. Arguably the Nazis didn't lose WW2, they just relocated.
