  3. Why? The US debt is actually a private surplus. Basic accounting. Most Americans probably don't realise that and a good many don't benefit from that surplus. Certainly some Americans just want to keep it that way.

  5. The US ideologically supposedly 'won' the Cold War in the 1980s and 90s, but is set to lose Cold War 2.0 in no small part thanks to its elite's endless greed, staggering arrogance, sheer complacency and utter contempt for its own people.
