  2. Ban GDP as a serious economic measure. Biden joosed the US economy with a massive financial stimulus ironically called the Inflation Reduction Act. With covid era private savings now spent and the deficit spending rising there's no way this sleight of hand can last.

  4. As ever, it's all about the narrative. In the UK today where I live, apparently, the economy is going great guns and has recovered far better from the Covid debacle than originally thought.... Can't say I'm feeling it personally nor really noticing it much elsewhere, but perhaps that's just me?
