So you don't think it's odd that the West has just financially and militarily supported an offshoot of an Islamic extremist organization in their aim of overthrowing an essentially secular regime? Further to that, you don't find it at all odd that these Islamic extremists aren't remotely interested in continuing their war with the hated Jewish state next door and are in fact apparently currently letting it bomb and seize Syrian territory with impunity?
