I think I'm correct in saying that sentiment toward Brexit, perhaps inevitably, ebbs and flows according to the current economic data. Current UK economic data undeniably ain't good, not least due to the recent Truss debacle, so it's hardly surprising that people will be looking for something or someone, ideally an external factor, to blame just as some of our politicians and media often unfairly scapegoated the EU when we were in it. Given that these economic woes clearly aren't unique to the UK and that no other countries in Europe have left the EU I'd be intrigued to see a piece asking people in those countries whom they blame for their own similar current worsening economic circumstances.
