Korean society is very hypocrite, probably the most superficial and selfish society in the world and without a doubt the most evil toward foreigners. It's all the result of Usa influence and the past invasion and occupation of Korea by Japan. The concept of true friendship does not exist in Korea, they replace it by sister and brother of blood line only. This excludes non koreans. Friendship with foreigner is fake. North Korean is the better of the two koreas in terms of moral values even if it is under a repressive political regime, the people there are not selfish and nasty. I have studied 3 years of Korean language 20 years ago so i not basing this on impressions but on real life terrain observations over two decades.
