Efficiency seems to be the top ingredient for the success in any physical discipline, even specialized ones like piano playing.

Bolt got bolted to the ground. His last race was a disaster.

@protipskiptoendofvideoandr286 You mean taking steroids to win ?

@shivambansal8441 Same thing, Bolt failed when he could no longer use drug enhancement without being caught. Lewis failed because he was caught still using them. All the same.

@shivambansal8441 who says so ? you ? No, it's quite obvious that in those years there were performance enhancing drugs becoming available ahead of the anti-doping detection methods. So it is fair to assume that most well connected athlete were doped. They just were. Entire countries athlete were doped. Bolt was a Mr Dope too. Just because the drug detecting tests were not yet good enough (or strict enough) does not mean the athletes were clean. BUT what is FOR SURE is when Bolt lost in way that did not make any sense given his track record, that was SOLID proof that all his previous feat were doped. He could no longer use drugs, the test were and that ended his career. That story was repeated for other famous athletes all doped. When the drug tests became effective they just ended their career.

@shivambansal8441 I don't see what is so difficult to understand. Biology is an evolving science, at any time in the past they were only able to detect some drugs. It's a race between newer drugs that are not detected by older methods and the detection techniques to be more encompassing. In fact even drugs that are easily detected are used by athletes during training and they fine tune the time just before the competition to stop taking them so that it goes below detectable level in their blood while still benefiting from the after effect. Make no mistake professional sports is a dirty business, it always is when money is involved, this is not art. In some sports like cycling for example it is well known that entire decades winners were dictated by drugs. It's not too difficult to see that track and field would be the same.

@keenannorris3309 Same to you. proof that they weren't ? My evidence i already exposed and only dimwits cannot follow the logic. When suddently the drug they built their career on, now detectable by newer better detection prevents them to use it, then you see their real level like Bolt and it is totally out of line with their drugged performance. That IS strong proof. All they do after that is end their career.
