  1. Hey Takashi, be careful, any culture tend to not see what is good about their culture and see the greener grass elsewhere, but Japan remains one of the most envied country in the world. There is no advantage without disadvantage. When people are too individualistic people are not cohesive and hatred and stress is higher which is the case in usa. As a Japanese you don't see that and only see the good side of individualism. You see the good side first but the bad side is big and more hidden.

  2. The first guy is so wrong, i am a westerner and lack of deference and respect for the elderly is a sign of serious society degeneration. In the West teenager young adult lack proper respect for their senior which is unacceptable and should be punishable by law.
