The delay was caused by liberal sionists who were doing affirmative action and other nonsense prejudice against whites and liked to see Chinese foreign student getting in top US universities taking white student seats. They always want more immigrants to divide the nation and stay in power this way. It was all politically motivated so they ignored the technological spying threat for two decades, did not take it seriously at first.

That is very true and Beijing knows that and make sure to gift money to them in various grants or better yet under the table which makes accepting a large quota of Chinese spies much easier. Many US university scholars knowingly give IP to China for money.

Yes i suspect the decision is made in the intelligence quarters and the border patrol officers at port of entry are only tasked to suck out as much confession from these students as possible but already have orders to deport them before they start asking the first question.

Often the IP electronic repositories in large US companies are accessible to any engineer and over months and years they download it progressively to avoid detection covering entire products line up white papers. blueprints and design documents and send it to China. The third approach is to use western politicians corruption by offering to buy plug and play state of the art factories to be built in China by western industry leaders for huge amounts of money that western countries in Europe particularly really need. Politicians usually do not understand the implication of IP theft. This is what happened in Wuhan with the level 4 bioengineering research Lab built by France that leaked the corona virus after it was run by a chinese only team while carrying biowarfare research.

@EepyBnnuy Fool, biden or any us pres are absolute puppets for audiences like you. This kind of decision is taken within the CIA. Biden takes absolutely no initiative, zero. He is just a PR puppet that must read the teleprompter and gets briefed about the ideas he must repeat during the day if any. At most he decides the food plater he will eat at the white dining hall.

@nestorreyes5253 not 20, more like 30 years too late. I saw this happening in the 1990's in graduate department universities. The Chinese sometimes represented 60% of the total graduate student headcount in engineering.

You're not alone over decade i must have known over 60 chinese graduate students from academia to the work in several companies and if i had to point which one are spies i am sure it would be in the 60%-80% of them.
