they deserve criticism ? heck they deserve to be arrested and put in jail. This is food lacing with artificial things. Reminiscent of the melamine baby milk powder scandal. Han China cannot be trusted. Their overpopulation leads to level of corruptions unknown in the West. While the west observes this with amusment this can be the future everywhere if overpopulation is not taken seriously. The mistake is to talk about low birth rate but that won't make a difference in the next 30 years.

@signs799 No, Communist Vietnam does not exhibit the same junk quality and deception with substandard parts substitution. It is arguably the hallmark of Han China, not communism. Before communism the Xing Manchu were in control of an agrarian China. The problem with Hans is culturally driven overpopulation leading to corruption. The communists understood the problem hence the 1 child policy still the dominant Han chinese issue. Current Low birth rate will not have any impact in the next 30 years.
