  1. FALSE map England never owned French land on the continent as shown in your map. They were vassals of the French King.

  2.  @logank444  Totally false, Study French history from the Merovingians, Carolingians, Capetians etc.. There is always one King of France and all other are vassals and must plead allegiance to the King, as did all the Plantagenets who originated from France and conquered the english island. Until as is often the case there is a rebellion then the King crushes the rebel vassal which is what happened. The fact is England is a French possession that revolted and became independent, but its origins is French rulers.
