Applause !! Well Done Boris. I despise Apple, they spread trash interfaces in the technology world that I've been following since at least 1987 when i bought my first computer. They were okay until the dummass Jobs rallied all the dimwits who couldn't understand computers. I resisted their trash products since the first smartphone and it's only one years ago that i got the first iphone 12. After one year of evaluation i confirm the iphone is a trash product, an anti rational, anti simplicity, anti intuitive, any freedom, maximum big brother deciding for you, and dumb interface that only gets dummer. I abslolutely hate it. I actually tried to change my opinion when i bought one but it proved to be all what i dislike in technology. I'm an engineer and i don't need to be taken by the hand and babysitted by some dumb interface making decisions for me and barring me from accessing the file system in the phone directly and fully. Anything that is bad for Apple is good for the world.

Hi Louis, how do you handle hot air rework for smd components right next to electrolytic caps that do not tolerate heat ? I have to fix such a board for a 2004 honda car radio. I can put generic insolation silver tape to protect the caps but i am concerned it's not enough. I practiced on a scrap board with my 861DW and the tape did seem to protect the cap but the yellow glue that held it to the board (capacitor is mounted layed down on its side) burned and made a brown hard poodle ! I searched youtube for that issue and there is almost nothing on it.

You got my like by the title alone. I fully support little guys who dare speak against abusive bully, monopoly shady big corps. They have an antitrust lawsuit on their a-- for paying several device manufacturer to have google's navigator as their internet browser. The government is not doing its job, they should have regulated the DOT COMS corps (that's how we called them in early 2000's, somewhere along the road they wanted to be called a tech company, but they're not they're dot comes writting website code).
