  1. the dynamics he puts up in this video to explain the difference between the two countries are not quite correct. Yes Japan is at a later far more advanced state of development but the two countries will not follow the same path because china is massively, incredibly hugely overpopulated. It's overpopulation that defines why China is what it is. All these people have to feed. The problem is that china is not trying to solve that, instead they're planning expansion and invasion to spread their population and they cancelled the one child policy. The future of china is not peaceful. You cannot feed more people without taking resources from other countries, and they are already doing that ! Look at how they've depleted fishes in water all around the world.
