  1. What were the megafauna predators of deers in Scotland ? Deer without predator is a problem.

  2.  @duncancallum  i read recently that reintroduced wolves in continental Europe are doing well and have grown in population size and it's the usual opposition by shepherds. I imagine in Scotland it would be a problem. But deer might be a much bigger problem, they deprive the land from trees.

  3. They don't talk about the cold winds. It's beautiful from a warm chair on a screen but having been there unless you are from a cold climate it's harsh. Forget it if you're from Southern Europe.

  4. Make the same documentary again but in Winter time then it's a different story. I guess that's why they have whisky and butter cakes and hearty meals, life outdoors is brutal.
