The leopard ideally ambushes running prey that can easily be tripped made to fall and immediately chocked without have to risk a direct charge with tusks like this. A static warhog will charge and can easily turn around. Leopard safely ambush running warhog that is easy to make fall and then choke. The cat knew this was too risky and call off the attack, but not without showing the warhog it was only feet from death.
