  1. A lot of people are leaving Houston that have lived there a long time. They stated some of the same reasons upon interview: Brutal summers!, average 95 degrees with suffocating humidity Also, flooding, hurricanes, and occasional tornados! Not a good place to build new homes! I for one wouldn't!

  2.  @dinhue8884  This was in a resent news article. In the past people who live there have told me the same thing! I can't do high humidity! That's why I have lived west of the Sierras in the San Fernando Valley, Ca for 63 years!
