  2. Great advice for anyone 😆. I’m only camping in my old van but it makes me happy. I don’t mind that it’s old and not perfect. It brings me joy making curtains and going to thrift stores for my van. My grandchildren love my van too. Their gifts to me are always something for my van. Your video is a good reminder for all of us to just be ourselves because that’s how God made us. 😆

  4. Oh how I yearn for the days when I drove into a gas station and an attendant would put the gas in and check the oil and tires. Sigh. This is an important video especially for all of our daughters and granddaughters out there.

  9. Oh. Once I was in the car with my daughter and I was telling her I needed a new phone with certain functions. Five minutes later I got a text from our provider that I was due for a new phone. I showed her the text. We just looked at each other in disbelief. Coincidence? Idk. 🤔

Why should an older person have to move to another state away from their family probably the main source of their joy and reason for living. I think she would find a community iof van dwellers that would help her though. She might feel better with people that understand her situation. Nice job you two.   14. Also I learned from Tim’s channel to have the dividing curtains with the same color as the car interior facing out. So I immediately went to my van and reversed the dividing curtain so that the grey part of the curtain faced out. That way it matched my grey interior and didn’t look like a curtain hiding things if someone was passing by and looked in the front. The way he said it made more sense and he used less words. 😆

  16. Hey it worked for The Golden Girls. I used to love that show and I was young when I watched it. Regarding the stubborn lady, sometimes it takes a person time to warm up to a new idea. I’ve done it myself many times. An idea I’m shocked by at first sometimes makes more sense after I ruminate on it for awhile. Maybe she needs some rumination time. It was nice that you offered her some possible solutions. If they don’t work for her maybe they will help someone else. 😆

  19. I once heard that some hoarders feel that the items actually have feelings so they can’t let them go. They don’t want the items to feel rejected. Also many hoarders begin their hoarding after a traumatic event. That helped me understand their condition better. You have done a truly wonderful thing. Teresa looks happy. 😆

  21. Definitely noticed your absence. I have physically hurt my body because I didn’t listen and just kept pushing past the pain. At 71 I have finally decided to stop doing that. I love your three goals and how you remained true to them. I have several autistic grandchildren that I’m helping to raise so I know the struggles. My daughter says I’m autistic so maybe I’m a struggle for them too lol. You have an awesome, high quality channel. It will only grow!

  22. The state of California took me and one of my sisters away from my parents and put us in foster homes for protection. I am so grateful for the amazing foster family I had. It’s almost unbelievable that there are people out there that are so good to take on damaged children and live them. Thanks to all those wonderful people 🥰.

  25. Holy cow! When I visited my uncle in San Francisco I couldn’t believe all the people under bridges and on the streets. I haven’t been to Portland in at least 40 years so I know I would be shocked. It’s just appalling. Like Calcutta minus the Leprosy. I feel like I won’t sleep until this girl’s window is covered. It’s good you’re doing these interviews. No one else is. 😑

  31. I guess before you leave see how much gasoline you will need to and from your destination. Multiply the number of miles five hours of driving will take you by at least five dollars. I put my destination on my GPS to get the miles then multiply by five or six. This is because I was shocked by gas prices as I traveled west. Here in Louisiana our gas prices are way lower than Arizona and California. My traveling is definitely restricted to gasoline prices. Great advice. I’m so glad you helped that lady before she gave up her apartment! 😆

  34. My family used to go camping in Mexico when I was a kid. That was before we needed passports. People were nice and I always felt safe. I have zero desire to visit now. Poor ladies. Having an innocent adventure. I pray for them and their families. Talking about facts is not fear mongering.

  39. This kind of greed that saturates the minds of some people is depressing and diabolical. Andrew deserves so much more. My uncle has just decided to go into hospice. Medicare sent him a letter saying they were going to take all his belongings to help pay for his health care. He’s over the top upset by that letter. He’s going into hospice while the vultures sit on the tombstone he isn’t even under yet. This is a good series. Love to Andrew.

  41. Yes! My daughter had a friend who was my age and used to constantly ask me questions that he would then lecture me on as if he was the almighty professor of the universe. It was uncomfortable because he was my daughter’s friend and I saw him nearly every day so I had to be forgiving and polite. Finally he got so personal with his questions that I had to tell him not to talk to me any more. Not to even say hello. It took me awhile to realize he was actually baiting me with questions so that he could capture my complete attention. A few months ago he had a heart attack and died making everything even weirder. I think he would like that.

  43. Yes! I have noticed how they malign each other at every opportunity instead of working together which is what they were elected to do. Both sides. Do they think we don’t notice? I don’t think they would be challenged in any way if they didn’t get paid but it would at least be a symbolic slap on the wrist. Nice hat!

  46. I got the idea of camping in my car when I drove from Alaska to Louisiana in a 2003 Subaru Outback. I loved that car even more than my present van. This nice lady looks like she’s comfy and listening to her intuition. I think her car of choice will serve her very well. Love that tent attachment!
