  1. Holy cow! When I visited my uncle in San Francisco I couldn’t believe all the people under bridges and on the streets. I haven’t been to Portland in at least 40 years so I know I would be shocked. It’s just appalling. Like Calcutta minus the Leprosy. I feel like I won’t sleep until this girl’s window is covered. It’s good you’re doing these interviews. No one else is. 😑

  2. This poor girl needs a window immediately. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a dangerous situation for a young woman. Thank God for Lacey! How can the police take away someone’s home. I’ve never seen more homelessness anywhere in the US than in California. What is the answer to this dilemma?

  3. Wow. I’m so sorry to hear that! I’ve been to Portland only a couple times when I flew in from Hawaii before traveling to whatever destination. It was really beautiful and pristine like you say. It was many years ago though. What a calamity. 😢
