That's something that they really REALLY have to look at and acknowledge. A lot of their current opposition are former members of their ranks. They dared to not tow the line loyally and zealously and you went out of your way to ruin them or cast them aside because they weren't part of the current plan and therefore weren't useful to you anymore. So they went to the other side, the side that welcomed them. You couldn't be adults and come to the table and just talk, so now you've lost it all and they're not gonna let you have an inch. They're going to burn it out like a disease and level the playing field. Then they're gonna put policies in place that won't even let you rebuild it again after it's been completely dismantled. It's finished, done.
