@MultiGameKid108 Good. If you see a problem with the most depraved monsters having a bad time far away from society in a jail facility so civilized civilians won't be impacted by their brutal monstrosity, perhaps you should receive a ticket straight to jail?

What's cruel is that you want to provide clemency and leniency to ruthless animalistic creatures who wouldn't stop before killing or hurting anyone in their close vicinity for whatever reason. Tolerance of violent lawbreakers is the last thing we need. Shaming those who run these facilities is apologism of the former.

Rehabilitation doesn't always work and isn't justified. Singapore, Qatar, UAE, South Korea and Japan are the safest nations in the world with the lowest rates of recidivism. Do you think they take the opinion and health of the prisoner into account? Of course not, to h*ll with that.
3
@HobbesHobbiton Don't use "common sense" when you're trying to defend lawbreakers. The most safe and attractive countries on earth don't act kind to criminals.
2
Who deceived you into thinking that it's just as "bad" to erase threats as the existence of the threats themselves?
2
Prisoners are usually way more dangerous than slaughterhouse pigs, so...

If violating human rights implies protecting your population against tangible threats by penalizing and deterring their existence, that's desirable. But the Western populace, particularly women wanting to fit in by being kind and tolerant, have been deceived into thinking the opposite. The result? Usually high crime rates, people being hurt and women feeling less secure and safe.

@charlestoncooper5265 Nobody cares what human rights groups says. They'll never defend or advocate for those who deserve it anyway.

@astorjupit6932 Yes.

@quarkonium3795 Hmm....ask yourself why you brought up Saudi Arabia and China when they are one of the more safer ones. Also, ask yourself why you decided to ignore Singapore, Japan, South Korea, UAE, Qatar and their neighboring countries with the lowest rates of crime in the world. The tourist hubs where everyone want to visit. The utopias where businesses don't even have to lock up at night. Maybe because the systems in these countries related to crime actually work and therefore breaks down your narrative.

@azurblau4144 Mind explaining why crime is so low in UAE, Singapore, Qatar, Japan and South Korea then? You know, countries that don't take kindly to criminal behavior.
1
@benco8888 We're gonna act like constitutionalists and cite amendments now? I bet you'd lose that game quickly considering the amount of transgressions and constitutional violations that your side have been a part of.

@MrDasfried Cited below if you're interested.

@Calnelth You're ashamed of your own country because people have different points of views? Does the abolishment of plurality, democracy and civil rights sounds good then considering that you seem to be unable to handle societal diversity and differing in opinion? Anyway, if my statements is what you are upset of rather than Sweden's skyrocketing crime rates, topping the list of deadly shootings/bombings, the government completely failing in handling the coronavirus and no-go-zones becoming more prevalent by the day, you should take a look at yourself and acknowledge that you're the real part of the problem. Congratulations.

The only problem with the US judicial system is the occasional politiciation (Chauvin should've been released), plea deals (evidence should be gathered and required to sentence someone, not solely admissions) and the lack of deterrent punishments. Solve that, and you'll push down crime to zero. Trying to make the prison system more"humane" (exposing civilians for criminals and wasting cash on the criminals isn't humane) is such a stupid leftist suggestion that only will make things worse. This is why we can't listen to the opinion of leftists willing to appeal to and excuse criminals, once again.

What's the likelihood of an innocent person being incarcerated, mam?
1
@mohammadzaman1225 Or maybe he's trying to strike back against bullies who tends to be criminal individuals. Justified, in that case.

A lot of people have grown tired of Oliver's traitorous political takes as well. Why did he come to USA to release prisoners, shame the country and glorify communists/socdems?

Are you really that impressionable?
