Yep. Just look at what people have supported over the years through propaganda by the media, politicians and the school system. The suspension of everyone's rights to "protect us" against a virus that only a small minority are impacted by, forcing people to wear masks for years, to vaxx themselves against an endemic influenza-ish virus that herd immunity won't beat, and for dehumanizing anyone who criticizes it. Just like what happened in communist Soviet or in Nazi Germany. Good sheep letting the wolves get their way and eat everyone alive. Or how about the passively growing number of folks who thinks it's a good idea to normalize drugs or to normalize unwell socially conditioned behavior? We'd at this point be better off with informed and well-intentioned rulers rather than an ill-informed populace voting against everyone's interests.

There's a shortage of mentions of your own show's misinformation though. Can't talk down on other news sources or shows when you yourself is a quite influential source of inaccurate info.

@seanmurphy3357 In the past? A lot of stuff. But that's not surprising since he's a socdem. From what I recall, he believes that a gender pay gap exists (completely debunked). He supports the radically violent movements known as BLM and Antifa on false premises while going after Trump like a madman and freaking out about Jan. 6 as if's worse than 9/11. He constantly ignores the arguments from his opponents and portrays them as if they don't know what they're doing. He ignores or excuses the horrifically disproportionate crime rate and grave misconduct/risky behavior in certain communities. I could go on and on. This guy need to fact-check himself and stay objective before he talks down upon others.

@tabularasa That's false. John Oliver is a biased socialdemocrat. He commonly talks from his ideological perspective while portraying his opponents as stupid caricatures or by bringing up their least convincing arguments. He's on BLM/Antifa's side, criminals side, wants to decrease punishments for convicts and release them from prisons, is opposed to the death penalty, wants to abolish most forms of traditional morality and is presumably fine with censorship laws/guidelines directed at dissidents. If fact-checkers did their job prior to the release of his shows, lots of editing and removals would be needed.
