What failure? The "failure" of a police responding after a filed report, to then arrest and render a serial criminal harmless? That's the "failure" that the whole irrational world are screaming about right now. Think about that for a second.

Equal opportunity still exists. People have the ability to pick the right choices no matter their background. Many end up choosing the wrong paths, leading to criminality. We can't turn the other cheek to that, we must prosecute them and remove them from the country. Increasing the budgets for schools and healthcare won't prevent these subversive elements from polluting and infiltrating the country.

@kindredspirit9703 We've been throwing billions of dollars via social programs, welfare, food stamps, education opportunities, charities, affirmative action and by turning the other cheek to 13-50 for decades. What has that gotten us? A bunch of disrespectful, toxic and radical attacks against our police officers, our law-abiding citizens and the cornerstones of our country. That's what happens when you bend to the mob. We've endorsed ghetto cultures, rap language, the ability to essentially do whatever one pleases, a minimization of zero tolerance policies etc. We need to change in that regard, turn up the volume, and remove those looking to destroy our country, even though they've been provided with opportunities to thrive and live peacefully. The only language that illegal and rabid groups understand is deterring policing, strict prosecution sentences, and a transparent societal message emphasizing on the fact that the silent majority are fed with with appealing to these decadent societal aspects time and time again. Time for a change.

@lukakiria527 We don't need any healthcare to prevent the pandemic. We need restrictive policies to prevent gathering from occurring. Mass testing, tracking, and quarantine measures. And mostly importantly, we can't encourage protesters to amplify the pandemic. These rioters are something that whole country (almost) has stood behind during this virus outbreak. That's pathetically low. And why is this happening? A hooligan died.

It doesn't look good when Vox however are trying to claim that it's reasonable to redistribute resources from the police to other areas, when cops are being shot at, businesses/innocent people are being attacked by rabid rioters and acts of terror are being committed around the world because a lack of police measures and law enforcement authority. Defunding the police is the opposite of what we need in order to establish and sustain a civilized country.

Only people with bad intentions advocating to defend the police while berating the existence of police officers. These people shouldn't be able to roam around in society.

Hellenistic Helmet The only problem with the "war on drugs" is that the US never applied an Asian approach to it. Weak drug policies doesn't eliminate the prevalence. Strong deterring and disciplinary actions eliminates it. Zero tolerance in many regards would solve a lot of out problems and create a welcoming, civilized attitude in society.
