  1. Forced/excessive regulation on corporations and an increase of bureaucracy tends to stifle growth, result in job losses and lead to those whom are willing to work being unable to do so. These unions and pro-spending legislators needs to take that into account when forming policy around e.g. gig workers.

  2. Good luck with that. Will forcing corporations to pay higher wages lead to more jobs? Will it ensure that people still easily can enter the job market? Will bankruptcies be more common? Growth be impacted. These factors are always forgotten when people subjectively and in a populist manner argue that we immediately just should inflate people's wages by force. Yes, people should be rewarded for their work and be paid a living wage. Intervening severely on the market isn't always the answer.
