  1. How will these cash-grabbing attempts of breaking up monopolies in the sports world play out? It's not like teams or players will become better or more innovative. That is ruled out. As a layman, I presume the most competitive and most watched league will depend on which teams decide to join these different branches. The legal action may have an impact as well. What do you think?

  3. To be fair, the players signs contracts based on the market value and their own competence. Can the same be said for those who manages the teams, the revenue and the logistics behind the teams and players? And it's not like players are threatening to turn the entire sports world upside down because they aren't paid enough. The leverage and power does not exist, and such actions are unheard of anyway. Greedy capitalists who've bought into these teams and those behind these decisions do make these sort of decisions every now and then no matter its consequences.
