  1. Detecting and rendering harmless the high-tech and advanced military vehicles/weaponry that we use today is easier and easier. The new era of warfare will likely be seen in space, in cyberspace, and perhaps underwater. Also, via proxy wars.

  2. Didn't know that drug smugglers use submarines to hide their activities and smuggle large quantities of drugs. That must be quite new, and extremely expensive. Hopefully authorities are able to quickly strike or seize these submarines, remove the smugglers and destroy the drugs. Such moves would be a great blow to the illegal industry considering the amount of effort and investments that these criminals likely makes into it.
