These corporations has always been hypocritical, superficial, dishonest and self-serving opportunists. They don't care about ideology in actuality. About positive change. All that matters is surfing on whatever trendy political wave there is to make a profit and attract the impressionable to purchase their stuff. Wish this could be sanctioned and regulated away.

Racism isn't common at all in Western countries. In fact, western countries are the least racist ones out there according to studies and censuses. That people keep portraying these countries as xenophobic, racist or discriminatory is just a foolish joke. Such accusations against Japan would be more apt, I suppose. But they're a responsible country with their own agenda that includes protecting its people and culture. An agenda that upholds their own interests. Why should Japan be blamed for having a reasonable migration and comprehensive cultural policy?

Can we regulate corporations to make sure that they don't indulge in social justice BS, especially if it's based on false premises, about issues that aren't their business, and if it supports movements that have malicious intentions?
