  1. The moral of this story is to avoid any airline controlled by Indonesian authorities or private entrepreneurs from the country. The country has a flawed history when it comes to aircraft maintenance, security and oversight. The weather can be tricky to handle as well. More deaths has been recorded in Indonesia's airspace the past decade than any other airspace on earth. Don't need an online tracker to conclude this ;)

  2.  @mistycloud4455  And the authorities hasn't prioritized basic maintenance for planes/regulatory bodies, has a lack of oversight and has undermined aircraft safety/security. EU has banned Indonesian airlines from flying there, from 2007-2018. USA has downgraded Indonesia's airline safety rating. Lots to rectify.
