  1. As long as there's competent officials running the plant in a secure manner and that the energy produced replaces dirty energy sources, using nuclear power is the way to go. Even the nuclear waste can be used to generate electricity if the capacity is there. But the waste has to be stored safely, and the nuclear plant can't be positioned in a place prone to natural disasters.

  2. Yeah..don't do that. We don't need further countries developing, wasting cash, and storing nuclear weapons. We've already got enough of an issue with the threatening country of North Korea, China/Russia and the conflict between nuclear-weaponized Pakistan and India.
