  1. Tolerate extreme dissenting religions and movements in a country, and these barbaric attacks are inevitable. Has Sri Lanka taken any measures to proactively handle extremists? The country constitutes of mainly buddhists, a group who tend to be tolerant and maintain a let-go stance towards most things. So I'd be surprised if the government has done what it takes.
