  2. Maybe if PA, Hamas, Hizbollah and its allies stops indulging in funding and resorting to acts of terrorism, a one-sided approach in the IP-conflict, and seeks peace rather than conflict. The stagnated war/conflict is a result of a combative attitude that prevents any attempts of peace and cooperation. Holding a questionable election 15 years later won't change much.

  3. They've always been criticized and persecuted in some way for various reasons. Without WWII, I presume something similar to Israel would've established itself. The influence by the group would likely be stronger as well.
