  1. Mexico is too impoverished and destroyed by murderous cartels to even think about a border wall. If the US is "bad", Mexico is a dozens times worse on every parameter. But Trump critics keeps on insinuating that Mexico isn't that bad and that the USA is the actual threat. That's of course totally laughable to anyone who knows what they're talking about.

  2. If not even a person like Trump managed to build a secure border wall and were unable to stop illegal/large floods of immigration through the US system, that may radicalize many normal people that are disappointed with how it all went down.
