  1. Free demonstrations is an example of a vibrant democracy, if that's a system of governance that you like. Al Jazeera's viewerbase should probably not mention the word "democracy" when they live in dictatorial nations. Just because instability occasionally occurs in the USA, doesn't imply that they aren't "democratic" or a nation worth emulating, in some aspects. A blind belief in mob rule or democracy is kind of overrated though, frankly. Not many benefits from that.
