  1. This is a quite massive deal, opening up ties and diplomacy with Taiwan after having satisfied China on this matter for several decades. But US appears very hypocritical in their advocacy against China, which deteriorates their leverage and position. US praises the HK vandals in the anti-government movement, which condemning similar movements at home. Such a hypocritical discrepancy has been weaponized by CCP and its state owned media. We don't need contradictory politicization out of spite when it comes to foreign policy and international diplomacy. Both China and US should do better in creating a neutral and well-meaning approach.

  2. Biden has a special relationship with Black LIves Matter and Antifascist action, so I don't think stability will be a priority of his. That's in fact impossible, unless he changes attitude on these subversive organizations. Biden has even appointed many diversity tokens and voices that publicly has talked favorably of these movements. What happened at Capitol Hill last Wednesday is nothing compared with what these other movements has done.
