If the response includes using acts of terror, violence and warfare to attack innocent people, that's not a proportionate or defensible response at all. Australia and its allies are in 99% of cases targeting hard-wired terrorists with no concern for human life, decency or peace. You can frame it as if innocent bystanders and residents are being targeted, but that would be a lie.

...you do know that Australia's participation and military offensive in the middle east against terrorists wasn't unprovoked, right?

some black chinese dude Considering that this force is here for a reason and that they aren't attacking innocent people, yes, that's hateful and completely reprehensible. How can you support the Taliban and militant groups who tortures and executed mothers, kids and men who've had nothing to do with any injustices? Why is it so hard to acknowledge the reason as to why Australia, the US, France and UN's peacekeeping forces are there in the first place? Its not to attack innocent people. It's to protect the world, uphold global peace and serve justice.

Was the person a terrorist/criminal? If not, of course these actions are unacceptable. But upholding international law and prosecuting people for war crimes at a war zone if the actions aren't proven to have been severe, dangerous and unethical, isn't really realistic in my opinion. Can't expect humane treatment and kindness when you're at war. When you're dealing with societal threats.
