Dangerous experiments were commonplace to be conducted throughout the 19th and 20th century. We received a lot of information by that, changing the scientific consensus, medical world, and how to deal with nuclear, etc. Should France be punished for something they regret? Even though France has delivered military assistance and foreign aid year after year to plenty of countries? Seems unfair to single them out and scapegoat them.

Hmm..wonder why. Could it be because Iran threatens to wipe out other countries as if it's completely normal? Could it be because they're an unpredictable, unstable and rogue stats full of radicalized imams and mullahs who controls the country? Their foreign policy of supporting rebels and militias? You're naive if you don't see their nuclear weapon proliferation is a threat.

France isn't a threat today. North Korea and Iran are. You can't compare a French experiment 5+ decades ago with the current shady activities ongoing in NK/Iran. But this level of discourse is what to expect in an Al Jazeera's comment section.
